The large Les Portes du Soleil is the perfect area for both novice and advanced skiers. From the nearby La Chapelle d'Abondance, you have access to this vast ski area.
Abondance is a characterful village consisting of six different hamlets. The major attraction of the village is the abbey dating back to the 12th century. You can stroll through the streets and enjoy the authentic architecture. Other special winter sports activities you can undertake include driving on a snow circuit, ice skating, ski joëring, and snowshoeing.
