In the heart of the famous 'golden triangle,' where Lectoure, Condom, and Fleurance intertwine, there is a village suspended in time. One where the clock of life seems to have slowed down to linger a little longer in the sweetness of the past.

In the morning, at noon, and in the evening, the church bell alone that marks the hours, like an old accomplice. Time stretches slowly, peacefully. There’S René, seen taking his daily walk supported by his cane, with his cigarette always unlit at the corner of his lips, Alain and Dolores keeping a watchful eye over the village entrance. And then the others, living their quiet lives without bothering anyone, under the benevolent gaze of the mayor, who watches over his small community with enthusiasm and energy, always ready to organize a gathering in the village hall.

THE HOUSE
In this almost timeless setting stands a small stone house, with its white shutters. Recently renovated, it has managed to retain its soul while offering the comfort of discreet modernity.

We enter through the kitchen—simple, yet remarkably modern and efficient—where a central island stands proud, around which the small family gathers for their daily meals. Nothing superfluous, just the essentials.

To the left, under the staircase, a modest and bright space serves as an office, ideal for writing a few emails or handling small tasks, while the toilet is tucked away under the stairs. It’S functional—everything finds its place.

Then we move on to the living area. Here, one wall is stone, another is plastered, and in one corner, there’s a pellet stove—attractive and effective. A window looks out onto the lane, and a door opens to a tiled outdoor area, perfect for a large dining table and garden furniture, shaded from the blazing summer sun for leisurely meals.

The upper floor houses two spacious bedrooms, one of which has its own walk-in closet. The bathroom, simple yet functional, completes this level without a single misstep.

There’s also a storage shed, located just behind the kitchen—a discreet but promising space that opens onto the courtyard. Slightly apart from the main house, this shed could, with just a bit of straightforward work, transform into an additional bedroom (pending local planning permission). A simple project that would add another room to accommodate family, friends, or simply to breathe even more life into this little haven.

THE GARDEN
It is set apart from the house slightly, a secret garden forgotten by all but the owners. To access it, we cross a small path, which no nosy tourist ever seems to take, and find ourselves in an open space connected to nature.

A panoramic view of the countryside stretches out before our eyes, and there, the hours slip away, soft and suspended. One could lounge for hours under the shade of an acacia tree, waiting for the sun to set slowly.

In the evening, it’s the perfect spot for family dinners or gatherings with friends, in the fragrant ambiance of a summer night. And then there’s the small wooden house—modest yet full of promise—which could shelter a gardener’s tools or, perhaps, become a children’s retreat, where they could spend afternoons inventing imaginary worlds.
And speaking of children, they’ll be delighted to spend their days swimming in the nearby lake, just 5 minutes away!

Young couple or young family, this house is made for you. In fact, the current owners have spent 20 happy years here, surrounded by their daughters, who were born within these walls, in this peaceful environment. A house that has seen children grow, heard laughter and play, hosted shared meals and moments of closeness. A house that, today, is waiting to create new memories in the same warm and welcoming atmosphere.

But it’s also a perfect vacation home—simple and hassle-free. A place to recharge without worry, far from the stresses of daily life. No fuss: one could simply arrive, settle in, and enjoy. Whether for a family weekend or a break with friends, this house lends itself perfectly to relaxation. It is anything but pretentious, yet it offers all the comfort needed to feel at home, even far from home.
