The kitchen is a delightful area that has the “feel” of a multifunctional reception room, with a central moveable island, a dining-room area and a panoramic view of the valley to the north.
The current owners would have fitted a second wood-burning stove into this room had they stayed.
On the first floor an impressive master bedroom overlooks the tiny medieval village street. This fabulous room has an open-plan bathroom with a tub and sink. There is also a private ensuite Wc for the parents.
The family showroom shared by the other two first floor bedrooms sits in the middle of the landing. This room has a lovely view over the internal courtyard - and potentially with a rejig, one could position a bath tub in a prime position to enjoy the view.
The two remaining bedrooms overlook the valley with far reaching views. One is currently used as a music room, the other a teenage bedroom : both are of a good size either as two children’s rooms - or perhaps one could be used as a study.
However you choose to make use of the first floor bedrooms, the light is good and the views in both directions too.
