Heating: wood burner / ultra-modern electric radiators in upstairs bedrooms. The current owners do not use the electric radiators, finding the wood burners give an appropriate temperature throughout the house. The stone walls are not insulated. The roof was re-done and insulated in 1999. The material used at the time is no longer regarded as effective and the house is rated a "G". It has been indicated that, were a heat pump to be installed (approx 14k€), the rating would probably be a "D".
