The property is situated near Noues de Sienne, a pretty little village in the heart of the Calvados countryside.  There are lots of good hacks and lovely countryside to explore in the area.  The beach at Granville is just 45 mins away and the bustling town of Vire is just a 10 minute drive where there is a wide range of amenities including supermarkets, schools, swimming pool, skate park, hospitals, gym and market day is on Fridays.  From Vire you can actually get the train to the beach, but also, if you went in the other direction, you could be in Paris in 2hrs 40 mins.  If ferry access is important, it’s just 1hr from the Caen ferry port at Ouistreham.  Caen itself is also a lovely city to visit and it’s about 50minutes into the city centre.
