This estate is situated close to the small village of Luçay-le-Mâle, about 10 kms from the larger town of Valençay. Its magnificent castle, built in 1540, dominates the skyline. It is open throughout the year for visitors who enjoy both its architecture and gardens. The local market is in town every Tuesday morning and spills out onto the smart streets.  Here you can sample the local produce including goat’s cheese, potatoes and pies!!  Paris is about two and a half hours away by car, one hour via direct train from Tours, or you could fly direct from the UK to Tours.
