Located between Carcassonne and the Mediterranean, and the Cathar castles and Pyrenees mountains, the winters are gentle and summer/autumn warm, dry and long. The 9000+ feet peaks and Pyrenees national parks are one and a half hours away, offering 9 french ski stations and beyond the vast ski areas of Andorra. And less than 90 minutes away are the beach resorts of Guissan and Narbonne plage. Around the village are pleasant paths both through the farmland and up on to small ridges with views in all directions. The quiet roads make cycling a good option for exploring the local area.

The towns of Carcassonne, Perpignan, Toulouse and Narbonne are easily accessed and offer many touristic sites/cultural events, railway stations, airports (Narbonne is served by Bezier airport) and motorway access to Montpellier, Girona and Barcelona.
