The Mediterranean beaches of Narbonne and Leucate are about 50 minutes drive away, and you can be over the border into Spain in just over an hour.
In the other direction are the Black Mountains and the Pyrenees with their many stunning hikes. Cycling along the Canal du Midi is on your doorstep.

Access
The nearest airport is Carcassone which is about 35 minutes drive away, or Toulouse which is about 90 minutes.
There is a good train service from Carcassonne and Narbonne to different areas of France and Spain.
Easy access to the A61 makes it simple to reach Toulouse, the Mediterranean coast and Bordeaux if you want to go further afield.
