The colorful hydrangeas in the driveway, so typical of Brittany, welcomes you. The long drive passes the swimming pool where you can relax and enjoy the surrounding garden.
Entering the house, a tastefully decorated hallway with marble staircase leads to the bedrooms, on the ground floor a spacious dining room to enjoy your hearty lunch, cold meats and local French bread bought daily. Enjoy the view through the French doors opening onto the patio that wraps around the house.
There are five tastefully decorated bedrooms each with tea / coffee making facilities and WIFI.
The main garden surrounding the house is beautifully landscaped. It has three small fountains and a fish pond with a stone bridge. The beautiful landscaped garden of 7000m² has several terraces with tables and chairs, ideal for relaxing after swimming in the large indoor swimming pool. Several paths wind around the garden, past various stone features and over a small bridge where you can take a break and watch the goldfish swim among the water lilies. There is a 2-car garage, large Hanger with mezzanine and extra garage space, suitable for caravans/motorhome and all those gardening tools. There is a small rear paddock with wood store and a large field suitable for horses & sheep. The property has mains power; water and oil-fired central heating.
Other areas include a private lounge, office and laundry room with washing machines, dryer and storage space, next to an extra storage room and a cave suitable for wines.
Scaër is located near the border between Finistère and Morbihan. It is an ideal locality for easily exploring part of Brittany. We are only 30 minutes (closest) to the Atlantic coast, with many beautiful beaches, interesting fishing ports, several marinas, beautiful estuaries, picturesque villages and very good tourist shops. .

Scaër is a green holiday resort with many places to visit: The beautiful forest of Coatloch, a 15-hectare leisure center, an arboretum of over 60 different species, three rivers, eight chapels, Kergoaler Castle. 170km of marked hiking trails for walking, cycling or horse riding. There is also a large swimming pool in Scaër, with a large slide, spa (whirlpool) and sauna.

QUIMPER
Located on the edge of two rivers and 30 minutes from Scaër, Quimper is the historic capital of Cornouaille and Finistère. Quimper is famous for its Saint Corentin cathedral and its two spiers. It is a very picturesque town, with cobbled streets, old buildings, earthenware, a Fine Arts Museum and regional shops. There is a wonderful market inside Les Halles every day, and another outdoors on Wednesdays and Saturdays. You can also stroll through the picturesque streets of the old town, a 35-minute drive away. Continue to Bénodet , discover its magnificent beaches and enjoy a stopover in the turquoise waters of the Glénans .

CONCARNEAU
Concarneau, is a lively city ranked fourth among French fishing ports and third largest city in Finistère. It has developed around the Ville-close, which is the most visited historical monument in Brittany, fortified from the 15th century. There are two ports, a marina, fine sandy beaches, a fishing museum, a marinarium, a castle, and hiking trails. The shops, sports and cultural events are very varied. The market takes place on Friday mornings and it is one of the best Brittany. There are a lot of shops, restaurants, creperies and bars.
The town of Pont Aven , 20 minutes by car, is an artists' paradise and a myriad of galleries of all styles. You will also find many shops including a very good wine and whiskey cellar!
