This property is located in a very quiet location and you can drive to all three lakes, via private tracks. It is not overlooked and there is only one neighbouring property which is about 250m away (and only visible as you come up the drive).
Located close to small village with bar/restaurant, post office, butchers, bakers, Primary school etc. The nearest large town is about 15 mins away, Bordeaux airport is about 1 hour and Bergerac airport 45 mins.
The lakes are well stocked and we have a significant number of customers who return either every year or every couple of years. The lakes are as follows:
Specimen Lake: large 7 acre carp lake set in the middle of the French countryside. The lake is stocked with carp which range from upper-doubles to 50 lbs plus and include commons, mirrors, linear mirrors, fully plated mirrors and leathers. There are also some koi carp which add a splash of colour and interest to the normal catch, as well as catfish to 81 lbs plus.
Jungle Lake: this 1.5 acre lake is over 300 years old and surrounded by mature woodland so it is very quiet and secluded. It has been stocked with plenty of carp in the 10 - 30+lbs range, it also has tench to 4lbs and black bass.
Coarse Lake: 1.5 acre coarse fishing lake which is well stocked with carp up to 21lbs, tench, bream, roach and grass carp.
