The Abbey with its romanesque architecture, is a builiding of historic interest, and attaches at one point to the rear of the house. The spa town of Amelie is a few minutes away, and the lovely old market town of Ceret is just 15 minutes away.
Access
Arles sur Tech is about 30 minutes from the A9 Motorway from Barcelona. It is close to the Spanish border. The Mediterranean coast is less than an hour away. The magestic hills, valleys, lush forests and rushing rivers are close at hand. The trans-Pyrenean footpath (GR10) passes nearby.
Perpignan, with its airport and railway station is about an hour away. Other airports within reach are Beziers, Carcassonne, and Girona (Spain)
Interior
The house is currently completely empty of furnishings. making it simple for one to make ones own mark. The floor tiles, bathrooms etc have been recently renewed, as well as many other items. Where possible old features have been retained, as with the grand old staircase. The house really does need to be seen.
Exterior
