- From London, the best way to travel to Burgundy region is by train and by car. Burgundy is reachable by 5 hours driving from the Channel tunnel or a five hour TGV (high speed train) trip from London.
- Burgundy has good motorway connections with the north as with the south of France and efficient railway network including TGV and local trains. Unfortunaletly direct flights from London are not available, but will soon fly to Dijon airport.

The town of Dijon wants to re-establish the line Dijon-London from the regional airport Dijon Bourgogne Longvic, closed for rentability problems.
Such a line would place Burgundy only 1 hr from London.
Currently various international and other independent airlines operate services to Paris, arriving at Paris Charles de Gaulle or Orly airports. Then TGV and the road network offer direct access to Burgundy. |
