We lead in this issue with an article on the housing market in France.
There are conflicting reports about the state of the market, in part because it is clear the picture across the country and between different types of property is a disparate one.
Nevertheless, there is also concern about the reliability of the house price statistics that are published, and widespread agreement that something needs to be done to improve them. We can only hope that the changes are introduced sooner rather than later.
