Guide to Renting French Property
Thursday 01 September 2011
We are pleased to announce the release of our Guide to Renting Property in France.
The guide has been written primarily for those seeking to rent property in France on a medium to long term basis, rather than holiday accommodation.
We are doing so in response to the increasing number of expats who are choosing to rent before they buy, and for those who have simply decided that renting rather than buying is a more suitable housing option for them.
Holiday lettings are also less regulated than properties let on an annual basis, but where necessary we draw attention to any important points of law and practice as they affect holiday rental properties.
The main contents of the guide is as follows. Click on any section to obtain the page you seek.
1. Choosing a Rental Property |
2. Set Up Costs |
3. Vetting Documentation |
4. Tenancy Agreement |
5. Condition Report |
6. Statutory Surveys |
7. Rent Level |
